THE COMBINATION BROW TECHNIQUE

Combination brows are created with a potent blend of Laura's signature individual strokes and shading for "your brows but better".

There are two options the first one creates the most natural results, this is for the woman who doesn't wear much makeup and is looking for a subtle enhancement. Strokes are placed the whole way through the brows and shading is placed through the middle of the brow to mimic a real brow.

The second option is mostly shading with strokes at the front and creates more of a glam finish. This is for the woman who likes to feel more "done".

WHO IS SUITABLE?

You may NOT have this procedure if you are under 18 years of age. You are pregnant or breastfeeding. You have taken Accutane or ANY ACNE MEDICATION within the last 12 months. You have HIV or any other infectious or viral diseases. You are taking BLOOD THINNING medications or medications that may affect how your skin responds to BLOOD CLOTTING and healing. You have type 1 or 2 diabetes. You are undergoing chemo/radiotherapy. If you’ve had your brows tattooed before, they must have been done at least 1 year prior to your booking & they must have faded enough for me to work over them.

PRICING

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?

Combination Brows: £400 (Includes one retouch session).

A non-Refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure a booking.

PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE

AVOID any tea, coffee, energy drinks, herbal tea or alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment.

NO aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen, vitamin E, or codeine, 48 hours before. (Paracetamol is fine).

Do not have a tan/sunburn on your face on the day of your treatment. NO SUN for 14 days prior and post-treatment (re-touch also).

No Botox for 4 weeks before/after permanent makeup. Unless you are intending to keep up with filler, I recommend having permanent makeup first.

Avoid working out or any activities that will make you sweat on the day of your procedure.

You must have stopped taking acne medication or blood thinners for one year - No exceptions.

No exfoliating/anti-aging products, retinol, chemical peels, skin resurfacing on the face for 4 weeks prior to or after a treatment.

Smoking will cause the pigment to prematurely fade

No brow tinting (1 week) or waxing (4 weeks) before a treatment.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

Avoid exercising or swimming for 2 weeks. AFTER 14 days apply a small layer of vaseline to protect the enhancement from chlorine.

Avoid sleeping on your front for 2 weeks and use fresh pillow cases.

Avoid saunas, steam, direct shower spray, or getting the area wet for 2 weeks or until flaking has gone.

Do not expose your healing tattoo to the sun or tanning beds for 14 days or until flaking has gone then apply a good quality SPF to your brows.

Avoid using cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on the treated area. No botox/fillers/skin peels/resurfacing treatments for 4 weeks after the top up.

No tinting/waxing/tweezing for 4 weeks.

AFTERCARE ADVICE

After your treatment blot your brows until the lymph has dried up, after about 1 hour you can gently cleanse your brows with Cool boiled kettle water with clean, flat cotton pads and pat dry with kitchen tissue. Repeat before you go to bed, then leave your enhancement completely dry for 14 days or until flaking has gone.

Only touch the area with clean hands during the healing process! Some itching is normal, please do not scratch, pick or peel off the flakes to prevent colour loss, scaring and/or infection.

RESULTS

The way that you follow the pre-care, and take care of your brows is the biggest factor in the quality of the result and the longevity of the tattoo. Over time the colour will start to break down in the skin and gradually fade. The technique is classed a permanent makeup because the pigment may not leave the skin completely. To keep your brows freshened up a colour boost is recommended. Keep in mind that eventually the strokes may soften to a powder brow this is a natural part of the process and how long you will be able to have combination brows varies from person to person. Combination brows last anywhere between two - three years before a colour boost is required. Redheads, blondes and fair skin types may fade sooner than darker skin/hair types.

HOW CAN I MAKE MY RESULTS LAST?

Apply a good quality SPF to your brows daily. One of my favourite brands is: La Rochey-posay.
Avoid applying day cream to your brows, as they contain active ingredients which can prematurely fade or even change the colour.
Avoid tanning your face on a sun bed.
Do not apply fake tan to your brows.
When you go swimming apply a thin layer of vaseline to protect your brows.
If you ever have a facial peel or exfoliation treatment, tell your aesthetician to avoid applying any product to your brows.

COVER UPS/CORRECTION

If you’ve previously had your brows tattooed elsewhere, or any form of removal, it can take 1-3 treatments (or more) to achieve your desired result because there may be a build up of scar tissue. If you’ve had a bad experience elsewhere and I feel I am able to offer you a cover up, please bare in mind that the results may not look the same as someone who had no previous work done and results cannot be guaranteed.
